What this guy said here. It’s just not worth it. I was in the same boat about to pay 21-23k for a Daytona but then because of this form I came to my senses You have 2 really great watches. Both are hard to acquire it’s not like you just can walk into an AD and get either. Be happy with what you have now. Work that relationship with your AD. Tell them you want to order one and you don’t care if it takes a few years. The Daytona will be all the more special after waiting for so long once you get it . Or at least wait until baselworld see what else comes out or let’s say the blnr does discontinue ? Then you may have more cash out in that one if you must pick one .
At the end of the day why flush 7-8,000 down the toilet to get the Daytona above retail and have to dump a great watch in order to do so. If you want a Daytona that bad buy a 2 tone below retail to help that itch. And keep the ones you have now. Put some color in that collection with the yellow gold
