Post Purchase Daytona Ceramic 116500LN authenticity check

A few weeks ago, I got the call and brought a new Daytona Ceramic from an AD.

I know it’s too late now but someone on social media raised the question if this is real. They claim that the subrings on the dial are too thick and the crystal protrudes out.

There were a couple of issues with the watch.

First, I’ve come to learn that the Rolex box it arrived in is an older box (31.00.64). I’ve been in touch with them, they apologized and have agreed to send the correct box.

Second, the watch arrived with a tiny speck of dust under the crystal! The AD offered to have it shipped back and have their repair team fix it or send it out to RSC. I didn’t want to ship it out again or lose the watch to RSC for weeks so I had LA Watchworks fix it. The co-founder, Beau, personally worked on it and I had the watch back within 24 hours. Also the laser engraved coronet on the crystal also was a bit misaligned, at 4 o’clock instead of 6 o’clock so they fixed that as well.

Watch weighs 141 grams, which matches to the specs I found online. Accuracy is +1 sec per day, power reserve is about 72 hours. I doubt the fakers can copy the weight, accuracy and laser engraved coronet exactly, no matter how good they are, right?

Since the Daytona, especially in white, is so rare, I’ve never seen or handled one in person until receiving my own a few weeks ago. With these few issues and someone raising the authenticity question, I’m honestly beginning to have some doubts. Did I just get scammed?

I hoping you guys can help please. Thank you.
