Datejust 116200 - When did it come out?

Been trying to search online for a timeline of datejusts, not having luck getting answers I wanted

I have the 116200 blue dial, roulette date wheel, 36mm w/ "maxi case" -

I see there were 116200 models that don't seem to have the maxi case (roman numeral dials) - here's a link

so, what gives?

when did the maxi case come out? why would there be the same model number? Is it like the 214270 w/ a MK 1 and 2?
