See, you keep getting it wrong. He's not upset because he didn't get what he wanted, he's upset he wasn't notified earlier of the situation, which is completely rational. Stating again...sourcing of material that is already hard to manufacture isn't something that is there in supply and then not over night...that would be a known issue much earlier than 8 months after purchase of a special order watch. The fact that you don't get it...well can't help you out on that.
