No, they are not new "unobtainable" models...
And no, they are not both Rolex...

I recently got my hands on a super nice X serial Submariner 16610 with tritium dial and serif insert, and a NOS first generation Vacheron overseas (49140) - those blue plastics after 15 years or so were a bitch to remove...

That being said, don't be afraid to venture out to other brands. The VC is simply spectacular.
