A tale of two blue. Would you have done the same?
Dear Watch Fam,
A short story of a recent switch that took place in my collection. I bought a Boutique 15400or on bracelet with the blue dial 2 years ago. Then at SIHH '17, I was blown away with the new 26331or. I loved the lighter blue dial and the gold subdials along with its new design. The date window was not my favourite but I decided to look past it. After all, no more screw down pushers! So, I sold the 15400 and bought the 26331 last month. So far, I love the more "sportier" feel of the chrono. Do I miss looking at the 3120 movement? Sometimes. I just felt that one needs to own an 1185 FP at some point. I find that legibility is not great with the chrono and I do sometimes miss the cleaner dial of the 15400. All in all, I'm happy with the switch. Now I want to know this: Would you have replaced your 15400 with the 26331? Thanks fam. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
