Rolex 1500 end link question

Hello,

New member here. I received a Rolex from my mom that had belonged to my father. I never knew that he had a Rolex until he passed away a few months ago, which got me quite emotional as he had kept it for me since he knew that i loved watches.

Its a 1500 model but i am not sure of the production date. Serial starts with 177****. Using the online lookup, one website gave me 1964 and another 1968.

Anyways, I mistakenly ordered a generic 19mm jubilee band for a 34mm case but the end links wont fit just. Needed a band just so i can put the watch on as the current band is broken. The current band is a 7205 rivet with 57 end links. My question is, what type of end links should i use for this case to fit a jubilee or a regular oyster band? a 557?

Thank you in advance. Any help would be much appreciated.
