Don't want one. I have a 5 series GMT-II I got for $3,200. The new GMT doesn't seem that great to me for the $ or wait. Have the 3 inserts original long time ago for dirt cheap. I'm not a big fan of the Jub on the GMT. Prefer the Oy. Not big fan of the fragile insert either.

The Oyster is more fitting on the sport models. Jub I love on the DJ with fluted bezel. Just not on the sport models. The Jub is great on my wifes DJ.

I really hope so, and it is not just a "plus up" for the holidays. There may be hope for us on the waiting list yet!

I picked something up this week, while not a BLRO, There certainly seems to be a burst of new watches hitting ADs.

That’s what happens when the global economy slows, more important things to buy than $10,000 watches.

I agree. Forums are populated by a small percentage of the overall number of folks that buy or collect watches. It’s a big worldwide market. I don’t think the uptick we might see here with incoming posts will change the overall primary or secondary Rolex watch market significantly.

I do hope more folks get to have what they want, though.

No, Hulk is dead, last few getting through, including mine that just arrived.

GMT BLRO we see in spurts, they come then go away. That's how its been from day 1.

There are 233,000 members on this forum alone. WUS has 100,000’s of thouasands I’m sure as well. Even though there are no official Rolex production numbers it’s widely estimated they make about 1,000,000 watches a year. Figure at least half are “sports” models of some variant and that most members here have more than one watch I would say the forums have a bigger impact then we realize.

Darn..... an ad told me they trickle in maybe even less Daytona’s.

That's true. At least that's what my Manhattan AD said to me. Yes, they might get a few pieces here and there but the "big" shipments are done for the year. Rolex is pretty much completed production and closing up shop for the holidays. Normal for this time of year
