Incoming DJ 41 oystersteel blue romans

Been browsing shop after shop trying to find a Rhodium face or Rhodium/ green Roman numerals. I absolutely love silver face, but thing is - wife has 36 mm silver, which I bought earlier this tear, so she banned me from buying a competitive 41 mm with the same face

I always loved the index blue face, but impossible to find at ADs. So within steel 41 DJs, most of the shops in HK are now out of stock, a couple have white face (totally not my thing), and absolutely incidentally one shop had this blue romans! Took me some time to get adjusted to the idea, as I never fancied the idea, but now I can totally see what a beauty she is!! Slept on the idea and first thing in the morning got myself a new piece!

As a note side, my daily ride been a Tag Heuer Formula 1 chrono quartz piece (yeah I know - quartz lol), absolutely love the watch, reliable and beautiful with blue face as well (!!), but time for some real-world upgrade! Here she goes (and one pic of wife’s 36 mm)

Glad you picked the blue. Your wife is right, why have two monochrome pieces, now you guys are rocking two of the most beautiful DJ ever.
Someone corrects me if I’m wrong , but the blue used with the Roman dial is different than the blue used with the sticks model right? Looks lighter, I like it better.

Thanks all! Am not sure what DJ II is as compared to DJ 41 as I am accustomed to calling this watch. It’s ref number is 126300 and 3235 movement

Thanks! Indeed, this is azzurro while the index blue is a darker shade. That one is stunning but, as I mentioned, non-existent at ADs.

Great choice ! Congratulations and enjoy in good health.

Also, nothing wrong at all with the Tag Heuer chrono quartz. I am sure it has and will continue to serve you very well along with its new Rolex comrade
