Rotschild might have said buy land when there’s blood in the streets, but many are remembered for greater things. In the end, all you have in a watch is what you see when you look at your wrist, and that goes so much deeper than the logo on the dial or the object of hype others might see there.

Seems most of us here are pretty smart.......watches are taking a big backseat to what’s happening with stocks and we all are taking a bath. If you still are concerned about incomings, you either have too much $$ to care or you are at the opposite end (where your watch probably is the most expensive you own....meaning you have no money put away).

NYSE down 35% in recent weeks. Retail and restaurant industry being hammered. I have 99 problems but that BLNR I want and have cash for isn’t one today

My friend is looking to sell his brand new 116500 with white dial and all the grey market dealers he has contacted are not interested in buying it anymore.

This doesn’t surprise me, or probably most of us, at all. Greys had a time while it lasted.

What's wrong with making frivolous purchases to help support the economy? I just spent an insane amount on a wallet, guarantee you I'm not going to be thinking about all of the terrible things going on when I bought it. But I might think about my continued support with purchases while the fear set in.

Tell him to post it on the forums. I’m sure a member here will take it for msrp so he doesn’t lose any money

He should have no problem selling it on his own for the right price

what a time to buy if you can afford it. There are going to be a lot of people scooping deals from the fire sales. I wish i was one of them. Unfortunately i have 3 more years before i get to buy another.

Nothing is immune at this point, no industry no individual, everything will feel the consequence of this lock down world wide. It is only getting worse by the day with no end in sight. I know it sounds like doom and gloom but the uncertainty is trumping everything. The stock market is a good leading indicator of what's to happen in the everyday economy in the near future. Luxury watches are the least of anyone's worry right now.

$10k would be incredible opportunity (don’t know if that’s realistic though, I’m thinking $15k is bottom with a ton of support). I started tiering buys yesterday at 20k, I believe this rebounds later this year.

WITH THAT BEING SAID, a drop that you talk about would absolutely decimate a ton of businesses/livelihoods and it’s going to get really ugly. Paired with the pandemic happening it’s all in all a really dire situation. Thats a major recession and not a joke. While it’s great to make a ton of money it’s still awful to think about the others who won’t be so lucky, filing bankruptcy, etc. I sincerely hope everybody stays above water. .

I am shocked with this sentence! Think how many out there will be losing their loved ones (mothers, grandmas, dads, granddads) .. Don't you care about your older relatives who were supportive throughout of your life - or you just see them "on their way out anyway"?

First off, please give me your data driven source that the flu has killed what you stated. That is unfounded and according to the CDC data, that is false.

And the whole point is not about recovering yourself, but about spreading it to the vulnerable population. It’s unfortunate that you don’t have any loved ones to care about, but I guess that is a good thing with your blase attitude.

I think everyone will be excited when you’re on your way out of this forum.
