Hello from socal
Feels great to join this forum! I have 31mm midsize datejust which was passed down from my father. I will be upgrading to a 36mm datejust this week. Not sure if i should keep the 31mm then put a diamond bezel for my wife or sell it to get another watch for her.

Welcome. Always keep a Rolex. Especially as yours has a family history.

Welcome to the forum
I’d keep that watch your dad passed down, there’s nothing better than to have something special to remember him by |

Welcome
Keep the watch if your wife likes it, and make sure you retain the original parts if you go aftermarket with the bezel. If it has not been used for some time &/or the service history is unknown, consider getting it serviced before being worn regularly. If neither of you particularly likes the watch or feel a sentimental attachment to it, then probably makes sense to sell. Of course do give this some thought though, as once it's gone...

Thank you everyone for your input. I officially ordered the dj 36mm from crown and caliber. Hopefully it will arrive soon. My wife actually leans toward rose gold jewelry since her wedding band and engagement ring match. Ive decided to definitely keep this watch as a family heirloom. I will give it some thought on whether to get an aftermarket diamond bezel. With a 31mm im just afraid to have diamonds which are too large then it looks tacky. Diamonds too small then it doesn't look great either. Appreciate all your help!
