New Member Looking To Join The Ranks
After browsing the forums off and on for the better part of the year, I figured it was time to actually join as I'm hoping soon to obtain a watch from a brand that I've long admired, but honestly never thought I'd be in a position to own.
I must say, looking at some of the timepieces that members of the forum own is nothing short of amazing. There's definitely a dizzying amount of eye candy to be had. As for me, I'm hoping to start my foray into the brand with a GMT-Master II (116710LN). While not as flashy as the more popular Batman or Pepsi variant, I am drawn to the somewhat reserved all-black dial and bezel with just a bit of pop in the Rolex green GMT hand and GMT-Master II font. Sadly, it seems this model has recently been discontinued - not that I would have likely had much luck strolling into my local AD in Tampa and picking one up. |

Welcome to TRF. Great choice for a first Rolex. Check out the Rolex for sale section as some nice ones do come up there from time to time. I bought the TT model just before the SS model was made available and it’s a favourite of mine.  Eddie.
