Just venting!

We'll never do business again with "SHREEVE & CO." here in San Francisco.

They have a good rolex and other watches selections but the sales and the manager does not tell you everything you need to know about the sale. They did not lie, they just don't tell you all the details involve that a buyer should know.

A friend of mine of bought a nice timepiece. He was told that they have a 30 day return policy as long as he has the receipt and the watch is never use or adjusted. He went ahead and purchased the watch. 2 weeks later he had a change of heart. So he went back to return or exchange the watch and he was told that this is not possible because the warranty card was filled with his name and date. The store did filled the warranty card. This is the detail that it was not revealed to him. He is not unhappy with the watch, but he wish that this details was reveal from the beginning. Otherwise he would have ask not to fill the warranty card.

That's a lame excuse for not offering a refund as most retailers can get replacement warranty cards easily from the manufacturer.

That response form Shreeve is UNACCEPTABLE........ an AD can EASILY get a replacement card..... I am pretty sure they just don't wnat to take the return.

Have him carefully read the return policy and see if that is stated in it if not I would return to SHREEVE......

They are a respected AD and should conduct business better than that...

Wolfgang,

Thanks for this message. Because of this we ask them that they can easily get another warranty card from Rolex and they agree to take it back.

David,

You're absolutely correct about thme being respected AD so they are going to do the right thing. Just needed to be pushed, that's all.

Beauty of forum.

THANKS TRF!!!
