Red Bull needs to quit playing games, put Perez in the car for 2021, and - teamed with Max - take the fight to Mercedes.

Perez is their best short-term option.

Max does need a good Bottas esq back up ringer. Him and Daniel were a sick lineup. Sucks they couldn't make it work.

It is about time that Red Bull got some...wings. I thin Max and Checo will be a great team and really compete with MB. To be honest I am guessing that Mclaren will fight for wins as well or at least have a a ton of fun with Lando and Danny Ric.

While it's likely to happen, nothing between Red Bull and Perez has been confirmed and we know how F1 is sometimes.

That is certainly true.

However, Red Bull really have no other options if they want to compete with Mercedes with two cars.

A lot of conspiracy on this one. You cannot have the rookie driver beat Bottas and surely you cannot have him win his first time in the car, that would diminish the Hamilton stock. F1 has a history of sabotage over the decades. This is one I think.

No way, why on earth did they go to lengths to put George in the car.

Agree - the Cat was out of the bag early in the race.

We will never know, but you sure have a valid point here looking at the history of F1.

Yes - about the car - any of the super-licensed drivers can do well in practice.

In the race, he showed his skill above and beyond BOT in same chassis, engine, etc.

I don’t ascribe to the conspiracy theorists - the tire kerfuffle was due to bad circumstances. Radio calls were stepped on and the nail in the coffin n was the late cut tire. A royal mess.

Yay for Perez RB 2021! Feel a bit bad for Albon though, but glad Perez was able to get a good seat. Confirmed this morning.

Or better still, you have power and 'strong connections' with those of financial means. Politicians know this well.

Not for Mazepin. Unfortunately for Haas, and Formula One; he has too much money behind him. It’s doubtful he goes anywhere. This asshat’s father is still appealing the Administrator’s decision to not sell him the Force India team for crying out loud. Didn't matter that he couldn't have been bothered to actually show up in court.

By keeping whatever discipline decision they made, private, as a “Team Matter”, Haas F1 is confirming they swept this under the rug and are thumbing their noses at the rest of the paddock. I won’t be rooting for Haas as long as this clown is a driver.

This is sad. Racing comes second to his sexual assault predatory acts, but this predatory egotistical behavior can also get someone killed on the track. It will suck if he's on the track next year.

Gene can’t sell the team to Dmitri if he kicks his son off. That was never going to happen.
