I had to see it to believe it

So I own a late 2018 BLRO Pepsi and my buddy has a 2020 BLRO Pepsi. SO much talk about this darker V3 bezel and I finally had a chance to pair them side by side and see them in person to understand how real it is.

The V3 is way darker. Almost too dark and not blue enough. Made me appreciate mine a bit more!

I would have preferred the red on the newer one and the blue on the older.

I got mine in 2018 also. However I would take either one of these. It makes no difference to me.

The appearance of the 126710 BLRO bezels are strongly depending on light conditions and viewing angles. An interesting comparision and discussion is here: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=698687

Well well, well. I'll take either one, not that picky about minor shade differences.

The mark 1 bezel makes that watch worth over 25k I think because they are so hard to find!

I’ll take the 2020 version. The darker blue just pops.
But the real question is, does it really matter?
Let me think about this one........ NOOOOOOOOO

C’MON MAN

Lighter blue is nice. It’s almost a bit closer to the Batman.

Details matter! I would agree that the newer Pepsi is almost purple/blue instead of a true blue.

It absolutely does matter. When you don't know what flavour Pepsi you're getting. The most inconsistent watch ever. There are at least 3 different variations and I doubt you can put a year to what batch Rolex pulls out of the clay oven.

Having said that clearly Rolex recognised that they didn't get the colour saturation they wanted originally and they've worked on it and the 2020 model does look better.

The newer darker ones looks way way way better imho. Especially in bright direct light the first versions look purple and pink

The first batches the colors where all wrong.

Well, your buddy is ten days behind you in the space/time continuum. Wait a bit... and his bezels will lighten up.

Love that air, land and sea trio. Hulk, Pepsi and Daytona. Pure awesomeness.
