I think in the non-WIS community there’s more demand for the Date model. However, I think I’ve read on the forums an estimate that Rolex makes one Submariner (without Date) for every 5 Submariner Date.
While both are mass produced, the Submariner might be a bit tougher to come by at an AD? |

Rolex doesn't classify them as "Professional" (aka Sport) models, but I think a lot of us sort of just lump them in with versatile/sporty characteristics of the Professional models.
I also find it interesting that every list posted ITT has included the YMII, but not the regular YM. |

It depends on the person buying. For a VIP at one AD, it may be easier to get a Daytona then a YM (if YM is not available). For a first time buyer at another AD it may be the exact opposite (YM available but won’t be offered a Daytona). So the only real answer to all of these “how long / how hard is it to get X” is “it depends.”

On the list for a Batman, Pepsi, and OP41. I’ll let you know what gets in first. Picked up my Daytona C Black dial middle part of Dec 20.
