Buying 1st Rolex. Does anything seem off?

hello.

i am about to buy my 1st ever Rolex, and i'm hoping it's gonna be this model.
the Rolex Datejust 36mm.

unfortunately i do not have the knowledge yet to see if anything is wrong with the watch or seems off. also i am not sure if Chrono24 is always 100% secure.

i hope you guys can help me deciding to buy the watch or not.

thanks in advance.

So you are willing to buy from Italy without any knowledge? You want someone here to tell you that this is ok?

Sorry if I seem rude but with all due respect this is the worst way to buy a watch. What are the import duties to Aruba? Have you checked out the seller and references? How will you be paying? What recourse do you have for returns or refunds?

Other than the extreme bracelet stretch I have no opinion on the watch, I believe the transaction is a mistake.

Good luck!

Watch looks polished and bracelet looks ‘tired’. Bit difficult to tell from the photos. Chrono24 has buyer protection with their escrow service but I think there are much better options for that money.

For DateJust I think it is better to buy brand new from the boutique/AD. It is obtainable with little wait time. You can start a good relationship with them for future purchase.

You could try looking in the for sale forums on this site but TRF is not a shopping service (before a Mod locks this thread).

And just to add to your knowledge, there is a 3% duty to import watches into Aruba.

https://www.government.aw/informatio...mport%20duties.
