16570 M Serial Dial question.
Does anyone know how to identify the appropriate dial for a M series Explorer 2. I am considering doing a dial/hands swap from a polar to a black dial. I want to have an accurate dial. Any insight or help would be greatly appreciated.
thank you |

Rolex doesn't do anything by serial number, it's just a number, so an M serial is not going to be any different than a Z or a V.
This is well into the modern Luminova, gold surround dials. Have it serviced and a proper service dial installed, nobody would know the difference. Or you can look over all of the dials in watches of your era, then look for one with similar attributes. Likely it will be sold for more than the RSC would replace it for, along with the service.
