Collection opinion. 2 Rolex vs 1 Rolex / 2 Tudor’s
Hey guys.
Here we go again! Curious to see what you guys would do So my collection is currently the photo below. I’m curious about my next move. I’m on the list at the AD for the z blue milgauss and if I were to get another Rolex this would be the one. Only issue is the chrono would have to go to finance it. So my question is. Do I choose to add a black bay 58 to the current collection and make it a versatile all arounder 3 watch collection with a heavy hitting Rolex and 2 heavy hitting tudors? Or do I let go of the Tudor, add the milgauss and keep it at 2 highly valued rolexes on 2 ends of the style spectrum, with a little less versatility. Having a tough time deciding because I like both options. Positive responses only please! Dealing with enough crap during the time we’re in right now. Appreciate your advice as always Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'd personally add a blue BB58.
That would be a really solid 3 watch collection. I'm a huge fan of Tudor and wouldn't let that new chrono go.

I would go for a BB58 Blue Dial over a Milgauss but that specific Rolex has never been a model top on my list. I would also have a tough time letting go of that chrono.
All this being said if I had that Pepsi none of the ones mentioned would get much wrist time anyway. Look forward to your incoming whatever you choose.

I love the Milgauss, but wouldn’t sell the chrono for it if you are looking for a 3 watch collection. Just save and add it. As long as you like the BB as much as the Milgauss you shouldn’t go wrong still. Personally between the two I like the Milgauss, but you already have a watch you seem to like. I wouldn’t give it up.

Swap your Tudor with a Blue BB58, don't get the Milgauss but instead a JLC Reverso and you will have a perfectly balanced collection for any occasion.

Don't kid yourself by making an either/or choice.
Keep what you have, and add whichever happens to work out. You'll be adding more later anyway. |

I'd definitely go for the Zblue and the BB58. I'd rather have a diver over a chrono. The Zblue is amazing, I have one and being a big Milgauss fan imight add a black gv as well. Happy Choosing..

This is a tough one, OP.
The BLRO is a very particular watch. As much as I ike it on others though, I have decided it isn't for me. Supposing that it's a keeper for you, I'd just wait to add back a Sub. The Tudor chrono looks amazing on you with the ink and all. So I'd say you should hold on to that one. Alternatively, (ready for incoming flack) if keeping the the BLRO isn't an absolute must, I'd swap it for a DJ41 on Jubilee and a ND Sub while keeping the chrono. |

Get the Milgauss and dump that Tudor chrono.
Add BB58 Blue in the future, if you still have an interest. Or, for something a little more hautie-tautie, get a Carter Santos as your white dial "dressy yet sporty" watch. |

I think the black BB58 would round out the trio nicely... but the MG blue is sweet, tough call!

Great option! The GMT is staying. It was a gift for my 30th bday / wedding day. The sentiment is too great. I actually talk about it on the Hodinkee YouTube channel! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I’d personally go with z blue over Tudor. Z blue and blro would make a sensational duo.

I really like that Tudur Chrono- it's classy and timeless. Wear it on the bracelet, stick it on a strap, it'll always look effortlessly cool. Along with the GMT it's a nice pair and a dive watch would give you a very nice 3 watch collection.
That said, what do you really want ? Don't buy the Milgauss just because it's a Rolex, buy it because you really like it more than the Tudor....

2 Rolex's, no question for me. You can only wear one watch at a time, and I'd always rather wear a Rolex.

Sell/trade the BB chrono for the Milgauss.

Sell the Pepsi. Get the millgauss, speedmaster pro and a Tudor gmt. Sorted.

2021 is most probably Milgauss' last year before discontinuation for a re-design or hiatus. If you can get it, especially from AD, get it, sell the Chrono to finance it if needed. You can get the Chrono back, as well as any BB58 later as they were introduced this year and will be around for a while.

Who is it who has the signature "The answer is always Rolex"? Well, it applies here.

Tough call. I like what you have right now. I’m an outlier on this forum, but personally the BLRO would be on my wrist 24/7, so it wouldn’t really matter what other watches I owned. Stay pat.

I’d go with the BB58 Blue - it’s a cracking watch!
