OP, try other AD's and be open minded. I'm not a RG fan myself but I think the chocolate actually looked better in personthan olive. Be open minded, take your time, show the AD you are serious, try other AD's, be patient and you should be able to obtain a nice DD with your hard earned money for msrp, good luck.

Agree, but it is a beautiful watch. The lack of lume is my biggest problem with that particular reference. It is amazing to see what greys are asking for that watch. I didn't expect the markups to get to the PMs but here we are

Because the "flippers" don't actually care about horology and just about how much they can sell the watch for a profit. ALS rarely makes you a profit unless it's an Odysseus or a LE piece - and you need significant track record to get either. I love my ALS and will never sell but that's not the case with most wanting a Rolex SS piece unfortunately.
