Every cool kid had that in high school in the mid 70's (naturally I had one).
I remember my sister wore a Timex Marlin on a strap like that in the late 60's!!!

Tan... and you're right of course.

Then again it depends if I wear anything at all while tanning (sorry, no pics to share).

A few Shillings or thereabouts... or two In-N-Out burgers.

You don't really need to imagine, that's how pretty much everyone else wears it. Exactly like a garden variety stock photo. Nothing wrong with going against the company line and being a little unique, I say.

Fun little bandwagon thread! OP a good sport though! I don’t think it looks any worse than a NATO personally. But yeah I’ll jump on bandwagon as well, not for me. I wasted a lot of $ on straps just to end up back on the oyster.

Sooo hear ya and have books and books filled with straps. i use perhaps only 30% of them to date, yet nice to have options in case I need to match a certain outfit or whatever feels right that day. My wife also has a nice selection for her pieces too.

Did wear the stock bracelet for months before wanting to do the fun cuff style. It's sooo easy to change straps / bands, and seems many just leave it as is like virtually everyone else, like you see at all meetings, like you see in the street, and in stores if they ever get back in stock.

Nothing wrong with that of course, just seems to lack a bit of imagination and uniqueness / personalization to me. jmho

NATO, have a deep collection and love 'em. Here's an example of a non-stock matching :)
