New member seeking info
Hi all,
We were moving the mother in law and she tought to give me her late husband's watch. I find out it is a Rolex, cool. After very careful examination, the model number seems to be 7967 and the serial number, I5002. Those are nearly totally erased. The man wore that watch all the time. He was an horloger, a watch repair guy, even worked on the big clock movements. All that to say that I am really happy to have that watch, it runs superbly, keeps time perfectly. I would like to know more about it, hence my presence here. If you have intel, I will look into it for sure. I attach two pictures of the watch, it is worn, it has had a full life... |

The dial looks like it was added at a later date and is a refinish.
This caseback was used on Tudor watches. Look inside and see what the movement and back say and look like inside.
