I'll stop in again and check out the Tudors when I have more time. Great place!
Good to hear, maybe I caught them on a bad day. Fyi, it was a woman who helped (or didn't help) me

I bought a Cartier from Betteridge in Greenwich and did not have a good experience - absolute worst communication from them!

I bought the watch from their listing on Chrono24........I got a sick deal on a RG tank. However, if it weren't for the price I would not have given them my business and I'd have cursed them out twice.

I dropped my VC Patrimony WG for a service last week, not that it absolutely needed it but I thought why not, it was almost 9 years old and wouldn't hold its power reserve. I was wearing jeans and a polo. No watchmaker on site, just the SAs. It was a half busy afternoon, a few customers here and there but nothing crazy. I was sat at a table on my own with a glass of water for 20 minutes. Maybe I should have shaved and worn a blaser? When taken care of, the SA noticed that my carrying case came from another AD and said "oh no, that case is from one of our competitors", to which I apologised with a smile, it was all tongue in cheek.

Anyway, the watch was sent to Richmont for an overhaul, which I'm happy with. SAs are interested in selling, that's how they make a living. They like rich Chinese and South American tourists in my neck of the woods. I don't blame them though .

8 weeks later and waiting on parts. Supply chain issues I’m told. Not in a huge hurry. The 70 has has been closed off an on due to mud slides anyway.

That’s very true. Just picked up an Air King at an AD in the Bay wearing camo shorts and a Star Wars t-shirt.

Received my 16610 back from Rolex after service. It looks and runs great. New hands, bezel insert, and full service. In the service they replaced the crown and rotor along with one of the jewels.

Due to the delay waiting they threw in a nice leather watch pouch. A definite positive experience with James the watchmaker in Vail. Highly recommend. Lots of progress emails pictures along the way.
