I never forget a site meeting with a demolition contractor I had, he was wearing a Sub and it was absolutely battered. I mentioned it to him and he just shrugged it off as his daily wearer. Good on him I say.

My wife beat up her DJ a lot more than that in the first month alone, some people are just rougher on their stuff than others, I would personally leave it until you need a service and decide then if you want to polish it or not.
