Do not try to repair, you will fail and it will look worse. Rolex sandblast the whole bezel and then re-polish the raised numbers.

Now I’ve seen a picture, I completely agree with the others that you can’t fix that yourself and Cape Cod’s would definitely NOT be the right solution. Before seeing the pic I just assumed it was a scratch on one of the polished numerals for some reason as they’re raised, but a scratch on the sandblasted area is impossible for a DIY fix.

Thanks for all the Input. I won’t try anything myself that’s for sure but someone here posted that they can sandblast the bezel at a proper jewellers. I will get an opinion about there too but I won’t let them do anything if they can’t guarantee it will look like new afterwards.

Don't try and fix it yourself!
I has one similar on my old YM and made a right bollox of it. There was a thread on here showing one being refurbished. It was a right mess and finished looking like new. Was it Tools / Larry who posted it? Would be worth doing a search.... |

I would sell it as is and take a hit on the price. I am sure there will be someone who would not mind the scratch if the discount is attractive enough.
Unless you have a sandblasting tool/machine, it is not possible to DIY. Not even sure if Role would do it. They may just recommend to replace it. Just guessing. |

Yes. First you sand blast it. Then you hit it with a lapping machine. if you dont have a lapping machine then you have to tape off all the sand blasted parts less the numbers and ring and give it a high polish.
This aint for beginners

Has to be blasted. Don’t take a cape cod, you’ll ruin a very expensive bezel.

First post, so forgive me if the picture is missing...
Almost identical injury... Gutted. And it was somebody else's fault 🙄 I'm glad I did a search, i had a feeling it would not be a straight forward touch up job. Ah well, may as well wait until service time. It's a lovely watch though |

Leave it or send it off for refinishing; there's really nothing that you can do yourself. Mine needed refinishing and a great job was done.
