Are moonphase Lange difficult to find at Lange AD or boutique? Is it a mistake to buy it new? They are beautiful watches. Do you get killed on trade-in? I don’t mind losing half on a panerai or IWC but losing 20-25k on a Lange in a couple of years is what has made me shy away from them. I know Rolex does something to their white gold so it doesn’t yellow. Has anyone had that happen to a white gold Lange? Does it take decades?

If I mean a watches, I would add another 10,000 bucks and buy a Patek Philippe Complications 5205R, one of the most beautiful watches in the world.

I have not encountered any issues this far. I believe Patek, Rolex and Lange use a white gold alloy throughout (grey gold) instead of standard rhodium plating.
But to remove all doubt, you could just go platinum Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Apparently, yes, they do exist for the easylink clasp. See post no 3 in this thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=716038
