Question on the LV Sub
Its been awhile since I posted, but I do have a question for everyone out there. Recently, I have seen a great deal of LV subs for sale at very low prices. Some posts have been on this site and on timezone as well. Is there a reason while they are selling so low these days?

I have noticed the same thing too, mainly on Ebay uk and asked a similar question a few weeks ago. There are also plenty of LVs in the ADs and no black Subs

The LV has been out there for a bunch of years now, and isn't as exclusive anymore. All the people (like me) who waited by the phone for that call from the AD, have already gotten their call and their watch. for the past year or so, it's been pretty easy to get one at an AD here in northern Florida. If it wasn't in the case, they'd have it in the back.
Then there's the economy. They're simply selling fewer watches these days, which would including our beloved LVs. ADs will still try to sell a buyer on the scarcity, and use that as an excuse for no discount. Don't buy into it. That takes nothing away from a great watch. |

Right now the LV is my only Rolex, but I love it. I was attracted to her at first site and bought without even one thought of reselling her.

Great time to buy but needs to do home work. get a black insert and it'll be a perfect modern Sub

Most AD's in the Northwest have them in the window for weeks on end. It's a similar story with the GMTIIc as well. Thought they would get snapped up immediately!!

I was in a AD in Glasgow last week with both the LV and GMT2c and i went to the next AD about 20 paces away and surprise surprise they had both watches too. However i have looked in at least half a dozen dealers and not one has the regular black Sub. |

It's not just the LV. I have seen Sub Dates for cheap, EXP II's for under 3k and even GMT's for much lower than is the past 2 years. All nice watches are taking a beating. With that said, if you plan on buying-there is no better time than now.
