Vario Empire Watch with Salmon Guilloché Tuxedo Dial
So while 'cheating' on TRF at other places, saw this lovely piece pop up. It's a Vario variation of their Empire timepiece with Seiko NH38A automatic movement and Salmon Tux dial. They've made a bunch of variations, some are visually more attractive than others, but that's just my preference.
VARIO's Empire is an homage to Art Deco, and has a nice guilloché dial and bold reeeeeally nicely-styled font applied lettering. The hands geometry works very well too, so nice to see a bit of 'extra' effort there. Art Deco On timegrapher with Lift Angle @ 53degrees 300-degree of schwing Beat Messing Up By: 3ms Average Accuracy: -5 sec/day (i'll re-regulate it at some point) Tech Details: Sapphire crystal with inner AR coating, solid back, Seiko NH38A automatic movement. Case Diameter: 38mm Lug to Lug: 46mm Case Thickness: 11.5mm Strap Width: 20mm taper to 16mm at buckle Water Resistance: 5 ATM Warranty: 1 Year Global Strap: Vintage style Italian leather. Must say the strap really is nice as is the case. Size-wise, it wears like my Seiko Alpinist blue dial Hodinkee edition. The applied numbers and hands really work incredibly well against the guilloché dial. jmho Oh, and under $350 from Singapore shipped FAST via DHL included. Face.jpg Wrist.jpg

Thx and it punches well above the pricing for style. Plus it filled two 'holes' in my collection:
Tux dial Something salmon. Glad I got the stock Mahogany Brown strap to add to my strap collection, but the typical black dress leather band looks more the part imho. https://vario.sg/collections/empire-...ic-dress-watch
