Pelgaos 39 randomly broke
Hello all.
I’ma proud owner of a Pelagos 39mm. I was fortunate enough to snag one of these the day that they launched. I haven’t worn the watch for a couple of weeks and just found out that the watch wont start. This happens despite how much I want it. I’m always extremely careful with it and make sure the crown is screwed down. There is no sign of water damage or anything like that. Curious if anyone else has heard of this happening? Thanks |

Could be a lemon. Looks like it’s going to be a warranty job

Sounds like a mechanical failure to me. Lot's of reasons this could happen. Any thoughts are just speculation until a proper inspection is carried out to determine the cause. Under warranty, Best to send it in IMO.

I’ve heard of Tudor products effectively being DOA / dead on arrival, but never experienced it myself. Warranty will cover it, but I get your frustration because it’s still a huge hassle to deal with.

Thanks everyone. Just dropped it off at the AD. Super annoyed as my 126710blro is also in service as it was losing randomly 10
Min a day. Everytime I send a watch to get serviced there is always dust under the dial or something when it comes back smh |

Winding it.
He might not be winding it. He Wrote:

Maybe this is the post that gets my mind off of the P39!
Seriously though, sorry to hear about the headache and hope it gets resolved much faster than your Rolex.

Tudor ADs are seeing a big influx in stock recently. Pelagos39 needs to be tried on in the metal, I think. There’s a subtle sunburst, it actually wears bigger than a Sub IMO, and the weight may be either a pro or con |
