Bought a 1016, how does it look?

I jumped on it, a bit impulsive, but seller was reputable and it sung to me. I am not a vintage guy but this looked cool. Thoughts??

no details but I was wondering the same thing and will look into further during the inspection period. my concern was more with the hands than the dial. these were the pictures i got though not the best!

In the first image, the outer edge of the "3" is clearly being distorted by the curvature of the crystal. What's less clear is whether that's happening to a lesser degree in the other images. I also can't tell whether that was just within the QC margins in its day.

I like it. The distorted 3 might just be the photos.

To get a good second opinion you need to post the beginning of the serial and sharp pictures.
Otherwise, you’ll just get comments on the way it looks…

Seems to be a Mk4 dial indeed.

The images aren’t bad really but obviously better ones or more from different angles would help.

Hands look good to me.

What year/serial number is this supposed to be? I could be wrong but the dial print appears to have features from a couple different dial types.
