When might the latest 2023 watches hit the stores?

Hi, just wondering what peoples thoughts are regarding when we can expect these new releases to start arriving at the AD's.
Those that have been in this hobby for a while, what's happened previous years?
Has anything ever been for sale on release day?
My guess would be a few months.
The RLX Yacht-Master will hopefully be my next watch.
Thanks.

I think June-ish. My question is when does the first one appear on the gray market, which model and which gray dealer? I’ll guess the YM at DavidSW, $18,000, also in June.

May/June would be my speculation. First releases to hit the Trusted Sellers will be at least 100% mark-up from retail. The Bubbles will be 40k to start. Prices will then settle a bit when the initial buyers are satisfied. The YM will be between 22-25k when it settles is my prediction.

It completely depends on the reference I think…and they don’t all get released together.
I remember one year it was around May (2017) when the SD43 came out in the UK.

Good point. I guess grey dealers are the best place to look to see when models are being released.

Thanks. Still waiting for my SD43. Just over a year wait so far which is longer than I expected. Not overly desperate for it though so haven't pushed.

Slight tangent: Are Tudors still made available right away upon announcement? I know that's been the case with some of the non-show releases (Ranger, Pelagos 39), but not sure about these - aside from the "pop-up" shop in Geneva.

At least 24K imho.

It was May 1 for Lee Fowler in the UK. I got mine May 4 in Canada

Hi, I know past Tudor releases have been on the day. I think the ones the end of last year were from memory. Haven't seen any 'incomings' on here yet though.

Last year they were available almost immediately; I vouldn't be surprised to see something similar this year.

Last year Rolex had a really lazy year and didn’t change the line up much.

Yikes! That’s a high amount for the bubbles. My guess on those would be between 20-25k, if we’re talking about the Tiffany OP bubble.

Like everyone else my guess is that you will be able to "see" them around June but to actually purchase one could take years.

Historically my Boutique has gotten its first new releases in late May/early June after the March shows. There will typically be an invite only trunk show between now and then.
The exception was 2020 when the new stuff was announced in September. My Boutique’s trunk show was just a couple weeks later and they actually had a handful of new Subs and OP’s available then.
