This keeps me from being bored. I play at least 36 holes a day, and especially enjoy watching PGA tournaments while playing the same "course" on the simulator. I will always prefer a round outside, but this is an incredible alternative, especially while this winter weather lingers!

It is a ton of fun. I don't use it as much as I probably could, but I do try to get out of the house once in a while.

A friend of mine put a simulator in his house and his game went downhill so fast it is amazing. He used to shoot low-mid 90's, now he's consistently in the 110-120 range.

That's actually not uncommon at all. Most people end up quickly focused on chasing speed/distance, which is in many cases a great way to get a little wild off the tee.

The key is practicing intelligently. And that's the case whether one is working on their game indoor or out. Mindlessly hitting balls can often create problems. Most important thing for me has been the ability to refine my short game.

I started this with a 6.7 index, where I've been "stuck" for about 5 years. The only real way for me to improve on that was to finally dedicate time to my wedge game. As a result, my wedges have never been better. I look forward to playing this season with a genuine wedge game!

Not sure on Assetto Corsa (which looks like you are on) but iRacing in a GT3 is def flat.

Is this private property or state owned? Someone lives on the rock behind it? Amazing.
