Question about dial
Hello,
I’m new to this forum and I’m seeking out information on a dial that was on a watch I just purchased. I recently bought a 18038 day date with a blue Diamond dial. The watch was purchased from an older Gentleman that was supposedly a high ranking military officer, it was gifted to him back in the 80’s by a superior. The watch has been opened and verified as being authentic but I’m still skeptical on the dial. My skepticism comes from the position of the Diamonds on the dial. I’ve only seen one “authentic OEM original dial” online that looks the same. Thanks in advance to anyone with insight or opinions. Looks like a typical mid 80s blue dial to me. They commonly deteriorate like that around the plots.
