These will be rare and collectible someday. I doubt they will be in the Rolex collection long, hence, the staggering aftermarket pricing.

I updated on another thread last week. My AD, a high volume Boutique, was told they’re only getting two each of 36 and 41’s for this calendar year. I will not be getting one, not nearly enough status.

My AD had a 36mm for exhibition today. Here is a pic. I wasn’t interested until I saw it in person. Now I want one, for my wife, in 36mm.

Celebration dials are out?

I’ll have to see one in person, but based on pics, it’s not for me, and I have a lot of watches with bright color dials. I even have a purple diver.

$65K ?! LOL. well alright.
I think it’s a cool watch, I would like to see it in person. It’s not my style so I don’t think I would wear it really.

I am waiting on a 36mm one but I am sure it will be quite a long time if at all.

No, actually, it's bringing about a more perfect economic equilibrium, where price reflects market-based supply and demand. It's only really a "loss" to the distributors or (official) retailers of Rolex watches that are hamstrung when it comes to demand-based pricing.

We're not talking about jacking up the prices for vital medications.
