Just watched Miami Vice the movie….and Crockett wears..
A Tag? Whattttt?

Great, great movie, wish they’d make a part 2! But, as they say on ESPN
, “c’mon man!!!!

THE iconic Rolex,
Crockett,(Don Johnson) had the most amazing watch, a Presidential!

Not sure why they dropped the ball in the movie

I watched the TV series as a kid in the 80s and I thought the movie was awful.

The movies are meh.... Then again i lived in Miami in the 80s... and yes saw some filmings of MV. Guess the original tv series is more authentic imho.

From what I had read, the Rolex President Crockett wore in the TV show, just like his 365GTB/4 Daytona spider, was a fake.

Later on they had Crockett wear a real all gold Ebel.

wasn't it always the Ebel 1911 Chrono?

I would have guessed Vacheron. Michael Mann is a huge collector of them I believe.

First seasons of the TV show it was was a fake yellow gold Day Date. Later seasons it was switched to an Ebel. Search the final scene miami vice on youtube. At around 4:53 his arm is on the roof of the Testarossa, and it's very clear Crockett is wearing a gold Ebel chronograph. Cheers!

Great tv show! I think Crockett ended up wearing Ebel in later seasons.

Correct. I believe it was a Malte Chronograph Perpetual Calendar that Colin Farrell wore during the movie, not a Tag.

Jamie Foxx wore 2 IWC in the movie: portuguieser and aquatimer chrono split minute IIRC.
