New IWC Pilot with full dial lume

One thing that I’ve always complained about with IWC watches is the lume - or lack of it.

Well the same cannot be said for their new 41mm, ceramic case with full lume Pilot !

$6800 on a cloth strap?

Yikes.

That's gonna be a tough sell.

Damasko have also been doing the same thing for years. You’ll got an actual in house movement from them fit less.

I don’t know how anyone didn’t feel like a complete Walter wearing military unit badges etc.

Lol
Not my cup of tea either, and I love IWC, but if this were put out by Rolex, people wouldn’t be critical IMO.

The price is insanity... 9K Canadian for a no date, nylon strap???? I think IWC have lost the plot... $2500 would be a stretch

The co-branding is getting tiresome.

Though, this wouldn't really be on my radar regardless.

I’m on the fence with IWC, I respect the big pilot for what it is, I actually have my eyes on one in the near future(but I can’t imagine it getting ANY wrist time over my 126610LN or Apple Watch ultra) but this example is a no go for me for sure, it’s almost like the blue Angel edition watches but not as cool. Lol.

DC67. They don't make this now, but the DC57 which is this model without a rotating bezel, is just shy of $2000.

So you think this should be priced 2/3rds cheaper than IWC's entry level watch and it's IWC that have lost the plot?

Yeah....citizens had watches exactly like this 20 years ago and they were cheap to buy.

IWC has some really great watches...but the pricing lately has been a joke.

While $2000 might be a stretch for this IWC (meaning it's probably too low), I would like to say that IWC has had some recent, interestingly, priced models of late (see Ingenieur controversy).

It is aggressive for a watch on strap.

I simply went off what you are getting for your money. Given the cache of the brand name realistic would be 5k.. their pilot watch or Mark XX is 5K chf and those have date functions. Im not hating on IWC... but I feel these will tank on resale

Richemont

IWC is owned by Richemont. Your sentiment remains.
