"Stainless Steel " engraved 5513 gilt ??
Hi everyone,
I've seen many 5513 from the gilt era without "stainless steel" engraved. However came across one now (below pics). Is this legit? How come so few have it? Thank you! HAGW |

Many 60's Tudors and Rolex didn't have STAINLESS STEEL as you say, but quite a few did. I don't see a pattern as to which did and didn't though like you get in early 80s with gap between REGISTERED DESIGN and ORIG. ROLEX DESIGN on the other lug gap.

Nice comparison with the 80s. You are right about that. I also have seen it.

Well aren't all 3,6,9 subs UK only and gardiner houlgate is a UK auction house, not that surprising.
