Vintage deployment clasp markings
I’m looking for a replacement deployment clasp for a 62523-14 bracelet. Whilst searching, I’ve noticed that the “Registered” and “Swiss Made” markings are mostly centred together. But i’ve often found some that are offset like in the photo?
Is this a fake or did Rolex make a few of these that featured this? They’re being sold as genuine items by reputable sellers but it just looks wrong to me, like it’s poorly made. Thoughts? |

It used to say:
PATENTED REGISTERED SWISS MADE After the patent expired it looked like in your picture for a while. They just removed PATENTED when stamping the clasp. |

If you want to know if something is fake, please show the entire photo.

You will always get better responses when you provide more complete information. Think of it as a courtesy to the people who are freely donating their hard-won expertise. You might think you are asking a simple question, but you don't know what you don't know.
