You guys over there in the States seems like you guys like nancying round on your bikes (thanks Jack Nicholson...great line).
I did 80 miles today on my bike in the total rain from start to finish.
After 40 miles I had to take my gloves off as they were full of rainwater that had run down the outside of my Dainese jacket and into my gloves .
Bare nuckles, without gloves, I road the last 40 miles back home mostly on the freeway, and with my GMTIIC on my wrist doing the J.O.B.
My bike and my watches are for getting used boyz
But hey I hate riding in the rain

So big deal, you rode in the rain without gloves and got soaked. You act like that's never happened before. Stop crying about it Next time you don't want to get wet, don't leave in the rain. It ain't rocket science

I didn't have a choice at the time, no battery in the car, and I had to keep an appointment. Anyway, it worked out pretty well.
My bike is a work bike, I get it serviced but as for cosmetic condition....well after the first accident I had on this bike I thought what's the point. I carry 45lb boxes on the tank down to the post office most days of the week, so scratches don't bother me anymore.
I'm happy just so long as mechanically it is in good order.
I still have to get $8K from the taxi that hit me in August....I better get onto that because I need the cash to get a milgauss
