Dear group , I have just joined the forum. first of all I need to (remove the back) to have a look in does it screw anticlockwise or clockwise???
The winder has come out. It still has the shaft connected. is it possible to fix myself? Thank you (Shropshire) UK

It screws in clockwise. If you have the skills, and the proper tools, you can fix it yourself. If you’ve never done it before, a Rolex is not a watch you want to practice on.

Righty tighty lefty loosey. If you had to ask then you have no business opening the case back

The winder is called a crown. You need to take it in to a watchmaker to fix it if it has disconnected from the watch
