Anyone else suffer from this OCD..

I have several watches on my radar, they are:
DD in Platinum or
Daytona All Rose Gold and or
Daytona White Gold

The problem I am having will all of these is none of these models have "flush" end links. In other words the end links protrude up or past the lugs. The very latest Daytona's fixed this with the new bracelets, but I dont like any of their dial offerings.

Does this bother anyone else?

Not sure what you mean on the DD. I have never noticed a problem as you describe.

You can see how the end link sticks up above the lugs

I think there’s a picture of that in the dictionary next to ‘First World Problem’.

Now I can’t unsee that issue. Thanks for that. I too suffer from chronic watch OCD.

If I could have any of those watches, I'd easily put up with that "issue" (if it is indeed what's shown in post 6). So no, it does not bother me in the slightest.
Let us know what you pick!!!

It’s a feature, flush doesn’t look good where edges meet

Anyone else suffer from this OCD..

I have OCD, too. But that isn’t triggering me. Now my wife’s inability to close cabinet doors in the kitchen is a completely different thing altogether. Thank goodness there’s an easy solution for it. I just get up and shut them.

OP, you don’t have OCD and you are not suffering. What you have is simply a preference.

You’ll be fine.

It's funny because I have the opposite problem. Rolex has always made watches with recessed endlinks... So I've come to love them as they are. I simply won't look twice at a Rolex with endlinks flush to the case... that REALLY bothers me lol

Just preferences. I don't like the look of solid end links on the oyster bracelets. Think they look like a carved out chunk of metal made to make the manufacturing process easier or something. They look clunky to me. Much prefer articulated end links like on the Tudor bracelets. The end links are still machined but the the middle link is articulated. As it should be

Well….ok.

But in that example the diamonds and dial are bigger issues for me.

Just looked at many of my watches. Jubilee's and OF bracelets all do the same. Heck, even the oyster to some extent. Doesn't bother me in the least and I'm as anal as they come. You need to get over it and just enjoy the watches as they are, which are beautiful BTW.

I appreciate the feedback, but in my defense I have seen folks on here with a dial under a loupe pointing out a market off by a nanometer :)
