Arrgh! No, it's not just you and yes that is a great watch spoiled.

(It's not for me that's for sure - but I daresay to each his own and there might be some TRF members who would find it appealing).

The red bezel numbers are too much, methinks.

Also, PVD bracelets look NQR to me - better to use a leather strap with PVD buckle a la Panerai.

Cheers

i know of no such bezel on a genuine Explorer II. the bezels are engraved in black hour markers on both the white and black face dials of the Exp. II. .......

It isn't just you. Simply put, the pictured watch is an abomination. I love my black dial Explorer II, and I find these alterations heretical.

Best,
Wink

I am usually the first one to say, "hey, it's your watch you can do what you like with it" but...Noooooooo!

One of the main issues I have with Buggering up an almost faltless design like the classic Rolex's is that they all immediately look like cheap fakes you get from Canal street..This one looks just like what you would get out of a suitcase down their!

Its a bit much. Slightly over the top. I can see why the person that owns the watch might like that look, ie: They like those multi colored bands.

Most certainly.....YES!! Those kind of abominations should only be carried out on a RADO - no other watch in the world deserves to be treated like that!!!

Beat me into unconsciousness with a shovel. Better yet, beat the person who thought up that hideous combination.
