Day Date for me . The Daytona is a lot of money for a watch that is not full gold

Fair point. But it’s also $10k cheaper at retail and the secondary prices are about dead even. I’m actually surprised the Daytona on OF is holding its own against arguably the hottest DD40 configuration.

Battle of the heavy hitters. Which one would you keep?

Tough choice. But I’d go with the Daytona. That happens to be my favorite Daytona configuration. And although I like that specific DayDate a lot, there are other dial options I’d rather have.

I do not have either a Daytona or Day Date....I would go for the Day Date. When I spot one in the flesh, they are really imposing.

I'd go Daytona. For me it would be more wearable.

The DD as I would prefer the PM watch on a bracelet. If both were on a bracelet it would be the Daytona.

Oooooo, impossible to decide.

DD because of the full-gold bracelet. Daytona because ... Daytona.

The only way to win is not to play.

I'd refinance the house and get both ....

But in seriousness, the DD.

I'd go with the Daytona out of these two only because I am not a fan of the roman numerals. If the DD had sticks I would have picked that.

In that particular metal and dial, DD. In WG, maybe a different story.

Day-Date every day and twice on Tuesday

Daytona is nice but the full gold DD on bracelet is the king

Day Date. It would be even better if it had a stick dial.

If the Daytona was on a full bracelet... Then it would be a lot tougher.

DD, but only because of the bracelet. I'm not a fan of oysterflex.

Oooh, toughie. Generally not a fan of full YG, but no denying that DD dial is a stunner. The Daytona has a black & gold case which is a combo I love.

On balance I’d say the DD though, as for me the bracelet wins over the Oysterflex.

For me, it would depend on what else I had. Anything else in the collection, or is this a one and only?

Think about what would be better in your collection. Me personally I have a decent collection that’s very versatile.
