What’s your opinion?

I think the AP looks better, however it’s so much harder for me to see the actual time on it and surely that should be fundamental to any watch.

That Hublot is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. That ball sack hanging off that creature's chin looks stupid. The case is nice though

The AP Kaws is aimed at Kaws fans and no one else I feel. He does have a large cult following and it’s more of a publicity/marketing move to garner more interest from the younger gen for the future. So it will be a very polarising piece.

I’m a fan of that piece and would definitely be impressed if I saw it across the room! No comment on the Hublot.

Not often would I choose a Hublot over an AP but in this scenario I would do so in a heartbeat.

I would think the hublot wearer is tacky, too loud, but at least the person tried to buy a nice watch and likely loves it.

The Kaws is whimsical, fun and the best part, it pisses off watch nerds that think watch companies can only produce watches that they would personally purchase and that everyone in the world should share their opinion.

I think those are two watches that I wouldn’t want, but each to his own.

At least they didn’t get pulled into a Cubitus! I’m not a fan of the concept case at all, but the movement, no hands and dial execution on the AP is awesome and well done.

I dont see either of them as a viable daily
but the AP makes for a significantly better conversation piece IMO.

yeah the kaws piece tells you a lot more about a person and their interests than the hublot

And this matters because? I would venture to say almost no one is purchasing a $200K AP Concept to be their daily watch. In fact, it being time only helps with not wearing it everyday.

I wouldn’t care at all if I saw that hublot. If I saw that concept it would be the most exciting watch I’d seen all year and would probably be a memory for me.

Hublot had some missteps, but not all watches should be viewed with the same lens...
Some Hublot are also good watches, like the recent Hublot BB Unico Novak Djokovic...
I for one think this is a very beautiful watch....

If I was a Kaws collector that also happened

to collect AP, it’s a win! I personally have never heard of Kaws prior to this release. As others have previously said, I’m not the target market. I prefer a watch be designed and function based on something creative that the manufacturer did. Not some clown figurine. Oops, I think I just realized Im getting old and closed minded! 😂
