First CPO... Thoughts

I have to say I'm pretty impressed. This is a 15-year-old watch and it's perfect. Cost me maybe a hundred bucks more or so then going gray.

It also occurred to me that I've had six DJ41s and a few DD40s... never kept a single one, but I always come back to the Datejust 2.

The Datejust II is intriguing to me....correct me if I'm wrong, but it's a heavier/thicker watch than the DJ41, right?

Dimensionally it's almost identical in the numbers. If it's thicker, it's less than half a millimeter. However, the case profile is flatter and more square. The bezel is slightly wider than the DJ41. The watch might be a touch heavier.

I would say the DJ41 is a bit more dressy and elegant, the DJ2 sportier and has more wrist presence.

Congrats. Very nice! I, too chose a DJ with fluted on oyster, because it’s a nice contrast of dressy and sporty. Wear it in good health.

Yup - you might have paid a bit more for that CPO, but the Rolex warranty tat goes with it has significant value.

Congrats!

If you love it, you love it.

I've been buying from greys, not without qualms. I've also purchased preowned from big multibranded ADs.

It is what it is.
