Thank you. Was not heavily worn nor in bad shape overall. Minor scratches and wear. Had not been serviced in 10 years or more, so I wanted it to be perfect before I handed it over.

I have the same DJ with an engine turned bezel. Love the blue dial and oyster bracelet. Mine is 28 years old, bought it new as a birthday gift from my wife. Wearing it today for the first time in a couple weeks, just set it.

Changing to this watch from others such as my 14060m, I am always amazed how comfortable it is. Thinking of adding a modern TT Datejust 36 as well.

Beautiful watch, I hope your daughter enjoys it.

I hope to pass it on to my son someday, it was on my wrist the day he was born and so many other special life events.

Nice. Your daughter is lucky. RSC did an amazing job on a friend’s 16610. It was a mess - movement was toast, crystal scratched, bracelet shot - they replaced everything and fixed the movement. I was amazed - it looked brand new and running within spec.

That is awesome! What a memory for you. I also have a 1986 36 two tone that my wife adopted. No quick set, so I didn't mind the theft! Also recently sent this one to RSC for a rehab

Yes, it is amazing how they can turn it new again in every way. My wife's in above post is nearly 40 years old and looks brand new.

Terrific watch, and a wonderful piece for your daughter to treasure and maybe, eventually pass along to another family member.
