Current Patek USA/HSWA Servicing Times?

A friend sent in a 240HU watch for service at the beginning of November, and they were quoted an April return, which is 6 months. I thought service times were coming down, not going up? Any recent experiences with HSWA service backlogs?

I was quoted 12 weeks in September. I would think it is also caliber specific and who they have available who can work on the various models. I think it is quicker if it can be done in NY and not have to be sent to Geneva.

I sent my 3802/200 in for service and authorized the service on 10/3. They said it should be done by the end of December. I opted out of polishing- I heard that reduces the turnaround time by a bit.

I wish you could find independents to service pateks but in my experience it's not really an option. The only independent I found was Gray & Sons in florida but they quoted me more than HSWA and couldn't give me a straight answer whether the mainspring would be replaced.
