What are your thoughts on Blue dial IWC Ingenieur?
Would you buy it for $11700? It looks wicked awesome

I like it, but if I were in the market for this style, I’d probably lean towards a Laureato 38mm Midnight Blue. Either way, I’d pick one up on the secondary market.

I’m all in on it. Picked mine up about a week ago.

I think it looks great. If I had the money to spend on it I’d definitely consider it.

Wicked awesome you say? :-)
With that kind of praise, you have to go for it! Personally, I think this new dial looks great on the Ingenieur. I can’t wait to check it out IRL. As for price, in a world where Explorer IIs and Subs are +10k watches, I don’t think the Ingenieur is badly priced. |

I have handled this watch at my AD and it is very nice. Too expensive for what it is, to me. So many other watches in this price range that this IWC does not even register for a possible purchase.

There are numerous watches in this integrated steel bracelet category that are all quite similar. Pick the one you love the most and go for it. Buy new if you’re willing to take the financial hit or used if you want a good market price. If you keep watches for a long time or forever then price does not really matter all that much.

It's amazing. Straw that broke my will to pick one up when they released this color.
Pricing was in my head for awhile really because of the movement. But when you compare to Genta's other works in terms of cost and how nicely the watch is executed visually. I think the cost is justified. |

How did you accept the $11,700 price tab? I am trying to get over it
