with that said, $30k DT code would be amazing.

full ceramic code 11 would be amazing too, if that's even possible with the lugs needing welding on the current PM/Steel models

It seems logical that it should be under the price of a chrono, however as a SA told me, do not search for logic in APs pricing. When a ROO Diver costs significantly more on a rubber strap than a RO time only, you have to abandon all reason and just accept it.

You’re talking about something different than the five step crown controlled QP, right?

You teasing too much

Can't even imagine what they did beside a full crown operated qp... just hope the layout of writing will be circular like current qp... don't like the one of the ultra thin that goes to center of the subdial...

I think the release would be much more limited versus the 50th anniversary releases. The models would likely be limited to a certain number of pieces for each reference, mainly focusing on QPs

Some obvious guesses would be

Sand Gold QP
Blue Ceramic Skeleton QP
Homage QPs with historical fonts etc

Any thoughts on the quick change strap/bracelet system migrating to the Royal Oaks? That would be a great update to the Royal Oak without simply changing materials or dial colors. A lasting reminder of the anniversary.

Sorry to bump my own post, but was curious if anyone has possibly heard whether AP has ever discussed putting the quick change system on the Royal Oak?

Openworked ultra thin 39mm QP in sand gold.

Dual-time Royal Oak 37mm.

They should lean way harder into their sand gold. It looks great imo.

I am sure they will. I just hope they don't save it only for Jumbo and QP. Would be great in a 41 RO time only (or dual time) or 43 ROO.

Openworked Ultra Thin QP 39mm in Sang Gold is definitely a home run for me too

I’d love to see that as well, even just with a closed dial. Sand gold is truly my favorite color.

That would be great. Getting close then.

My wish list: Sand Gold 37 RO if it could be dual time as well that would be perfect!

Really? Doesn’t make sense by definition. Wonder why they’d drag it out.

Agree. I think come 2026 new releases are just new releases. You only get one 150th anniversary. Every year we get something new so not like it is all or nothing ever again after 2025.

Just like the 50th, I would guess it will probably take a little extra time to manufacture the complete series in a year, especially if there is a larger release of a new QP. Stay tuned - just a few weeks away!!
