I think the bracelet definitely elevates the watch!
The price point though....Omega really doesn't know how to price these appropriately. The platinum 321 is running $40k right now second hand, nearly $25k less than MSRP. |

40k on watchfinder right now. And I believe they will continue to sink. |

But that is an amazing piece. The strap model was already my favorite Speedy. The platinum bracelet makes it that much better. What do you say @Trogster you gonna add the plat bracelet? |

I haven't see this watch on a bracelet before. I think it looks really good, but I just can not understand Omega's pricing of these watches which is currently £91,500 in the UK. If it was half of this price I could maybe understand it. |

A lot of posters complain about Rolex quadrupling the price of going from steel to gold. And omega one ups them by septupling the price. 50k for canopus makes the platinum pricing seem reasonable

I don't really care how their prices compare to other brands, they are more than I will pay. I used to think that a SS Speedmaster was good value at £3000, but they are more than double that now! I would possibly consider paying about £30K ish for a white gold watch and maybe up to £50K ish for platinum for the right watch, but Omega don't make such a watch. I can't imagine paying more than these prices for any new watch. |

Of course they were fantastic value for £3000, but was also underpriced at that level for what you get - especially with the most current references. Agree that they have been a bit too "generous" with the price increases, but also smile when i look at e.g. Breitling
